Enefit's insurance solution consists of insurance contracts concluded between Enefit and If P&C Insurance AS (electrical equipment insurance) and the Estonian branch of AAS BTA Baltic Insurance Company (fire insurance), where Enefit is the policyholder and customers of Enefit's electricity or gas consumption contracts are the insured persons.

Electrical Appliances Insurance Plus
The insurance covers the sudden and unexpected failure of electrical appliances due to an external event (e.g. lightning, short circuit, overload, overvoltage or undervoltage). In addition, the insurance covers the cost of fault detection in the damaged electrical appliances and of an electrician's visit, as well as the cost of repairs to your home's electrical system (wiring, sockets, fuses, switchboards, junction boxes, etc).
- Appliances are insured for a total of 2 000 € (per insured event)
- Work of a technician is insured for a total of 200 € (per insured event)
The sum of your excess:
- In the case of damage to your electrical appliances 50 €
- In the case of electrician outing 0 €
The number of insured events per year is not limited.
Fire Insurance
Fire Insurance provides you with compensation of up to €10,000 to cover the cost of restoring your apartment, house, summer cottage or other residential building if a fire has damaged its:
- load-bearing structures (walls, floors, stairs, roof);
- interior finishing, built-in furniture, sanitary ware;
- heating and gas installations;
- electrical system or the built-in alarm, communication and sound system;
- stove or fireplace.
If you have home insurance, our Fire Insurance will also cover:
- reasonable medical expenses for you and your family members if you suffer from a health problem resulting from a fire, which is not compensated by conventional health insurance;
- loss of income for up to 60 days if you or your family members are incapacitated for work as a result of a personal injury caused by a fire;
- claims made against you by third parties arising from your legal liability in relation to the occurrence of the fire;
- rental costs for up to four months to the value of €500 per month if your home has become uninhabitable.
